This study aims to determine whether or not there is an effect of the Reciprocal Teaching learning model on the mathematical communication skills of students in Negeri 91 Jakarta in the odd semester of the 2019/2020 school year. The research method used is the Quasi Experiment method with the Nonequivalent Posttest-Only Control Group Design research design. The sample used is Purposive Sampling. The instrument used in this study was a test of students' mathematical communication skills in the form of essays. The instrument was valued for validity by using Product Momment Validity Correlation obtained 9 valid questions from 10 questions. While the reliability test using the Alpha Cronbach formula obtained , then the data has a reliable instrument. Furthermore, the data was completed with the requirements test, namely the normality test using the Liliefors test on the posttest score of the experimental class obtained , while the control class obtained , it is concluded that the two samples are normally distributed. While the homogeneity test using the F test obtained, it can be concluded that the homogeneity test has homogeneous data variants. In the hypothesis test used t-test obtained with at α = 0,05. This means rejecting then the results of this study concluded that there is an influence the reciprocal learning model on students' mathematical communication skills.
