BELAJAR BERSAING POSITIF DAN BERBUAT KREATIF DALAM PENCAPAIAN HASIL BELAJAR MAHASISWA DENGAN MEMANFAATKAN JEJARING SOSIAL UNTUK PEMBELAJARAN

Abstract

This research aims to obtain the complete description about the utilization of
www.edmodo.comin the learning activity inside the classroom as well as outside the classroom to improve the learning outcome of fourth semester students from Indonesian Language Education study program on the subject of Syntax in the Faculty of Education and Pedagogy, UHAMKA. The Research began at the start of the even semester lecture of Academic Year 2016-2017 which
was started on Mart 2017. This study took two months and ended at the end of May 2017. The research took place in UHAMKA campus, Jln. Tanah Merdeka, Kampung Rambutan, Jakarta Timur. The population is all semester four students, class VI C and VI D, on the subject of Pshicolinguistic, Indonesian Language Study Program, Faculty of Education and Pedagogy, UHAMKA. The sample for research was obtained by raffling between class VI C and VI D, and as
the result, the sample for this research is class VI D which contains of 30 students. The result of this research shows that most of the students welcomed the utilization of the social media www.edmodo.com in the learning process. This learning process was not monotonus, not boring,
and even on the contrary, creating a creative, innovative, and fun learning process. This was
proven by the result of the students’ quiz which experienced improvement from the first quiz, second quiz, and third quiz as shown on the following data : First quiz, from 30 students, only 20 students are able to log in to www.edmodo.com. and from 20 students, only 15 students answered correctly, while 5 students had the wrong answer. Meanwhile, 10 students were not able to enter because of late entrance (the quiz was closed automatically). Second quiz, from 30 students, only 24 students were able to log in to www.edmodo.com. and from 24 students, only 18 students answered correctly, while 6 students answered incorrectly. Meanwhile, 6 students unsuccessfully entered because they were late (quiz was closed automatically). Third quiz, from 30 students, only 28 students were able to log in to www.edmodo.com. and from 28 students, there were 25 students who answered correctly, while 3 students answered incorrectly. Meanwhile, only 2 students were not able to enter (quiz was closed automatically).
