Puncak, West Java becomes famous tourist destination for Arabs who live in a desert region. The beautiful panorama, cool air, and friendly people make them like to visit Puncak, especially at Warung Kaleng Kampong, Sampay Village, Cisarua. They named this Kampong as jabal ahdor (green mountains) while local people call it Arabian village. Initially Arabiancame to Warung Kaleng for family vacation, but later they came for fun (sex). To avoid zina (doing intercourse with anybody) they did temporary marriage with local women. The duration of their marriage depends on their staying time. This research examined cultural adaptation of women who did temporary marriage with Arab. The researcher use constructivism paradigm and phenomenology tradition as a method to examined adaptation of Indonesian women who did temporary marriage. The researcher used cultural adaptation theory of Gudykunst. Data was collected by observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation study. Data analysis was performed using a coding system development, namely organizing data according to conceptual themes which known by researcher. The codes come from stories of informant, research questions, and theoretical framework. The findings show that more cultural adaptation carried out of by local women (host). How that is done, they learn the culture, the Arabic language, and recognize Arabic cuisine. This adaptation is done for the sake of economic motives, rather to satisfy the “husbands†to keep them come back and give bonus either money or precious things
